Kindergarten Prep Program

If your child has not attended a preschool and is starting Kindergarten soon, it’s not too late for preparation!

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 10:00am-1:30pm
3-5 year olds

Preparation for kindergarten focusing on skills needed to succeed in the classroom through reading preparation, beginning phonemic awareness, beginning phonics, number sense, tracing, cutting and pasting, science, social studies, PE, following directions and working within cooperative group activities.

Great program for children who are:

  • Entering kindergarten and have never been in a structured classroom with multiple subjects
  • Entering and plan to take private school entrance tests/assessments
  • Already have a busy schedule/already involved in sports etc. and do not have enough time for a full time preschool
  • In need of being challenged
Pick-Up Time Is Between 1:30-1:45
 A Late Fee Due The Same Day After 1:45

11:20-11:35 Story & Journal Time
11:35-11:45 Name Writing
11:45-12:05 Math Lesson in Number Recognition & Tracing
12:05-12:10 Potty Time
12:10-12:40 Lunch & Play Time in Gym
12:40-12:55 Rotating Lessons in Arts & Crafts, Cutting & Pasting, & Coloring
12:55-1:10 Rotating Lessons in Colors/Shapes & Science & Social Studies
1:10-1:25 Circle Time, Dance Time & Singing Time
1:25-1:30 Clean Up & Prepare To Go Home
